Henning Elementary School

Hello Henning families! Friendly reminder that we are now within two weeks of our "Take Your Parents to PE" week! We'd love to have you join us if you can! I'm attaching the master schedule for your reference so you know which day(s) your child(ren) will be participating. You can also sign up at the link below:

https://forms.gle/3UKmZfRBeR7i7LzW7 On that day, please arrive a few minutes early, bring a water bottle and dress for activity (tennis shoes and comfortable athletic-style clothes are optimal).

You can participate as much or as little as you are comfortable doing--your kiddos will just be so happy you are there for them! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Attention Henning Parents!

School photos are now online! Emails went out on September 11. Emails are sent out even if you have already placed an order. If you submitted a paper order form on picture day or turned one into the teacher/office your order is being processed and you do not need to do anything else.

If you did not receive an email you can order by going to www.voegelestudio.com. Click on Order Portraits and enter in your child’s student ID number as the online code. The deadline to order online and still get free shipping to school for 2025-26 Fall photos is Tuesday, September 23rd. After Tuesday the lab will charge a flat rate $8 shipping fee to all online orders, and orders will be shipped directly to the address you provide while placing the order.

Henning Parents:
If you plan to attend a field trip or an event at Henning this year please follow this Verkada Volunteer link to pre register with the office: Visitor Sign In Link. This is a brand new screening system, and every parent or visitor must complete this process before they will be allowed to participate. Thank you for your cooperation to keep our kids safe.

Tomorrow is early dismissal. We will begin dismissing at 11:45 AM. There will be no half day Pre- K in attendance.

Have you been wondering, "Where's Gina from Henning office?" Ms. Gina is still at Henning; however, she is working in a different role with Triad Facilities and Transportation as their administrative assistant. Yay Gina!
