Press Release 2025

Today, the Triad School District, along with all districts in the State of Illinois, released its 2025 Illinois Report Card at www.illinoisreportcard.com. Triad’s Report Card can be found at this direct link.  We’re proud of our students and staff for their accomplishments in this Report Card, but we also recognize that our schools are more than test scores. At Triad, we focus on the whole child—supporting academic growth, personal development, and well-being. Our goal is to provide every student with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success. We value our partnerships with families and our communities as we help students grow and thrive at every stage of their educational journey. The Illinois State Board of Education releases the annual Report Card to highlight each school’s progress in academics, student success, school climate, and financial investment.

Summative Designations for Triad Schools

One component of the Illinois Report Card is the annual summative designation for each school.  This designation is a descriptor of how well each school in Illinois is meeting the needs of all students. It is based on eight components of academic and school quality-student success indicators.  Five possible designations exist: exemplary, commendable, targeted, comprehensive, and intensive.

CA Henning Elementary, Marine Elementary, and Silver Creek Elementary all ranked within the top 7% of K-8 schools and Triad High School ranked in the top 2% of high schools in the State of Illinois. All four of these schools received the highest summative designation of Exemplary for 2025. Out of 74 schools in Madison County, only 13 reached the Exemplary designation.

St. Jacob Elementary and Triad Middle School both received the second highest summative designation of Commendable for 2025.  Both schools had data that placed them in the top 25% of all K-8 schools in the State of Illinois.

This year, the Illinois State Board of Education updated proficiency benchmarks and unified performance levels for all state assessments. Triad’s 2025 results set a new baseline and are not directly comparable to prior years. Learn more in this fact sheet.
